Rakesh is Group CEO of Crown Paints, an industry leader in paint manufacturing across East Africa. He has overseen tremendous transformation of the company in shareholder value, customer service, product line, and corporate citizenship initiatives. Under his leadership, Crown Paints’ turnover grew from $10M to $90M in the last 15 years and expanded to 4 countries. He was named CEO of the Year in 2014 with additional management category awards in productivity and efficiency and led the company to win various business category awards in innovation from 2011 to 2019.

Rao also oversaw the introduction of new innovative initiatives such as showrooms, contact center, loyalty program and various digital solutions to enhance customer experience and service excellence.

Susan is currently the Human Resources Director at Airtel Kenya. She is responsible for the development and execution of the HR strategy and infrastructure. Along with her team, they deliver on talent management, employee care, HR operations, training, reward management and benefits. Susan is passionate about developing talent and leveraging data to drive HR operations.
Previously held roles include Compensation and Benefits Manager, Resourcing and Employee Care Manager and Accounting Manager amongst others.

Susan holds a degree in International Business Administration from USIU, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology from University of Nairobi. She is currently finalizing her MSc in Human Resource Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Applied Technology.
She enjoys watching documentaries and gardening in her free time.
