Centum Foundation carries out social activities of national importance including Skills & Employability, Livelihood and Education. Centum has impacted 60,000+ lives through its 70+ CSR projects. The foundation is in the phase of accelerated growth and looking for team members who could be a part this journey.

Ideal Candidate Profile (Essential Attributes)

  • Minimum 7 years in social sector (3 – 4 years in skill development) with a minimum of 2 years in consulting/fund raising/business development
  • Should have MBA/Post Graduate/Graduate from reputed institute/top institute
  • Good understanding and work experience (at-least 2 to 3 years) in skill development/employability programs.
  • Experience or ability towards Lead generation to closure.
  • Excellent communication (speaking and writing) skills in English. Reading & speaking ability in Hindi
  • Experience of preparing/writing winning proposals for CSRs/government tenders/multilateral development agencies.
  • Target oriented with proven track record of achieving business/fund raising targets
  • Networking, partnership and collaboration skills with proven ability of having strategic partnership/s.
  • Should be proficient in using Microsoft Office especially excel, power-point
  • Good connects in the social sector esp. with the CSR, philanthropic organizations, institutional donors, aggregators etc.

  • Leadership skills with ability to establish short & long term goals for the business vertical
  • Have led a team of professional. Team building skills with proven ability of nurturing & mentoring teams in the past.
  • Dealing with complexity and ability to lay down clear road maps on the current operation and growth of the vertical
  • Ability to build in best practices and innovative approach in work stream
  • Functional/technical knowledge – Skill Development (entry level job roles, upskilling, RPL, wage employment etc.), Project Designing (participatory planning process, LFA, RBM, Theory of Change)
  • Understanding of funding pattern and trend in the industry

Key Responsibility Areas

Business Development/Fund raising (50% of the time)

  • Write business proposals/presentation esp. along the areas of skill development/employability. This will be the core work
  • Assist in developing sector specific solution
  • Build and manage relationships with social sector clients – CSR, philanthropic organization, international agencies. Ensure upselling and cross selling
  • End to end BD & project execution cycle – lead generation to closure
  • Networking, partnership and collaboration
  • Work in coordination with other business verticals and key functions – Finance, HR, Admin, IT etc.

Project Management (50% of the time)

  • Overall managing the execution skill development projects in the country
  • Maintaining and preparing proper reports to be shared with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely & quality implementation of projects. Focus on adding value
  • Guide team members towards work execution and pitch-in wherever required
  • Address operation/implementation related bottleneck/challenge
  • Managing Internal Audits for Process, Product & System to ensure process compliance.
    Any other work assigned by the reporting manager or Head of the Foundation.
