Deputy Manager – Instructional Design (eLearning Content)

Key Responsibility Areas

This will include but is not limited to:

  • Produce well-researched content
  • Design, and develop programs for training the role-holders across industries
  • Contextualize and develop content as per the job role learning requirement
  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization’s mission to inspire ideas and content
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders for devising the content
  • Analyze client needs and design innovative learning solutions for classroom, virtual classroom, or web
  • Lead development of classroom and e-Learning content, by doing hands-on development, managing project schedule, and reviewing work of other instructional designers
  • Design and propose creative instructional strategies for new and ongoing projects
  • Develop storyboards for e-Learning courses, classroom materials and instructor guides for classroom and virtual classroom programs
  • Work with tools such as Storyline to develop e-Learning courses and Captivate to create application simulations
  • Provide visual cues and inputs to graphic designers to enable them to create engaging visual designs
  • Work with internal teams to create and maintain knowledge repositories of content, design documents and templates

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2-6 years of experience in the field of Instructional design and e-Learning, classroom content development
  • Extensive experience in developing design documents, e-Learning storyboards and application simulations
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Excellent command over e-Learning authoring tools such as Storyline, Captivate, Vyond and so on.
  • Project management/coordination skills and experience in leading client communication
  • Experience in instructional design and curriculum design – learning solutions, including instructor led programs, virtual, blended, eLearning, mobile, and assessments
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
  • Strict adherence to the style guides of the organization
  • Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
  • Proficiency with computers, writing skills, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Office, and Tools (Desirable- Articulate, Captivate, Adobe)

Additional Details

  • 2-6 years of experience and a proven track record of delivering content assignments
  • The incumbent will be responsible for liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their learning needs and develop learning solutions that are robust, cost effective and meet business outcomes.
  • Responsible for creation of ILT content/ working with the vendors for delivery of the same basis the project requirement
  • Responsible for following processes and compliance for effective delivery of content
  • Individual contributor role
