Why is soft skills training important for corporate employees in 2022
When we call an employee ‘sharp,’ we do not emphasize their hard skills alone but also their emotional intelligence. The present work scenario is hard bent towards automation and technology, but we can never write off the employee’s ability to solve critical problems, leadership, and continually outdoing himself.
2019’s LinkedIn’s Global Talent Trends report states that 92% of talent acquisition professionals believe soft skills are equally crucial for hiring compared to hard skills. Further, 89% say that most new hires don’t work out because they lack soft skills. It is easy for recruitment teams to measure hard skills. Emotional intelligence is far more difficult to gauge but is an equally important contributor to a team’s success.
