Worked with a Telemedia firm to set up the entire process framework for its sales and distribution division

The Task

The client was a late entrant in the DTH domain and wanted to establish their product in the market. To achieve a strong sales effort, the company required a standardized Sales & Distribution Process Manual for their field sales force. The processes had to cover the entire exercise of expansion of distribution network, retailer and dealership management, dealer audits and reporting & reviews.

The Solution

Centum‘s process consultants went to a couple of the client's dealerships at different locations and shadowed their sales managers of the client. The process consultant shadowed the role holders involved in the process to understand the daily / weekly and monthly activities.

After the field study, the end to end processes of their sales team was captured in the form of the Sales & Distribution Process Manual. The existing processes were benchmarked with best of processes followed in similar organizations

The Result

Achieved a standardized process for salesforce pan India, which resulted in enhanced revenue
