Centum Learning participation at ‘Global Education & Skills Forum 2013′

Centum Learning participated in the recently concluded ‘Global Education & Skills Forum 2013′, held from March 15 – 17, 2013 at the Conference Centre, Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, UAE. A first of its kind global conference on the backdrop of future of skills & education, witnessed participation of more that 500 delegates representing Governments & Industries of over 50 countries. During the two-day conference, global leaders deliberated over ways & means to reform education with a focus on Public Private Partnerships, streamlining skills & developing workforce globally, re-oreinting CSR initiatives towards education, advocating equity in education, devising smarter content & better learning tools and innovating ways to utilize disruptive technology to impact the future of education in most effective ways.

Sanjeev Duggal, CEO & Director, Centum Learning Limited, moderated the session on Skills development titled, ‘Focus on Skills: workforce development for employment and global competitiveness’ at the conference. The Keynote at the conference was delivered by Bill Clinton, Former President, United States of America. Other global leaders who participated in the conference included dignitaries like: Tony Blair, Former Prime Minister, UK, H.E. Yoweri K. Museveni, President of Uganda, H.E. Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for Human Resources Development, Government of India, Lord Andrew Adonis, Former Minister of Education, UK, H.E. Cirino Ofuho, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, South Sudan, H.E. Vasant Kumar Bunwaree, Minister of Education, Mauritius, amongst several others.
