Centum Learning participated at the Pre-Vibrant Gujarat Summit, a Seminar on “SKILL DEVELOPMENT – MOBILITY CHANNELS” in Gujarat.

Centum Learning represented by Shashi Kant SS, COO, Centum WorkSkills India participated in the Pre-Vibrant Gujarat Summit a Seminar on “SKILL DEVELOPMENT – MOBILITY CHANNELS” in Gujarat, on November 20, 2014. The event was organized by Labour & Employment Department.
The session “Employment & Skilling Sector – Current reforms, initiatives, challenges & the way forward” chaired by Kum. S. Aparna, IAS, Principal secretary, Economic Affairs- Finance Department, Government of Gujarat was addressed by leaders from the industry including: Shashi Kant SS, COO, Centum WorkSkills India, Shri Deepak Mehta, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Deepak Nitrite Limited and Dr. Anna Klincic Andrews, Programme Coordinator UNDP, New Delhi. The panel discussed the current structural framework and challenges of the skilling industry and ways to enhance mobility between formal and informal education without the fear of adversely affecting employability.
