Centum Foundation is a society registered under the ‘Societies Registration Act, 1860’and is engaged in  conceptualization, implementation and execution of CSR activities for various corporates, PSU’s and government entities through unique outcome and outreach focused methodologies . As a CSR arm of Centum Learning Ltd., Centum Foundation carries out social and charitable activities of national importance including training, education and skilling of economically backward women, youth and children. It facilitates vocational training and skilling initiatives, a vital element to spur India’s inclusive vision that seeks to bridge the rural-urban divide and bring communities living in remote areas into the main stream of economy. Our 360 degree skill building solutions strive to create an employable and productive workforce in India to support sustainable transformation by employment linked and livelihood creation programs.

Centum Foundation takes up philanthropic causes to provide employability related trainings to underprivileged youth, women, and children within BPL/SC/ST communities as well as the Underprivileged sections of the society. The activities of Centum Foundation have far reaching impact through its programmes conducted in areas of women welfare and empowerment, skilling and livelihood creation, vocational training and health awareness etc. Centum Foundation implements skilling programmes using the technical guidance and expertise of Centum Work Skills India Limited, (a subsidiary of Centum Learning), having vast experience in vocational skilling, livelihood creation, education and women empowerment projects of large scale.

The wide spectrum of our offerings are as follows:

1.     Employment linked programs through training initiatives.

2.     Youth skilling in more than 21 industry sectors and 50 + trades.

3.     Women Empowerment programs through self/wage employment initiatives.

4.     Vocational Education for children and school kids.

5.     Teacher Training Programs on Leadership, Effective Teaching Skills, and Better School Management etc.

6.     Managing and establishing Centers of Excellence with extensive coverage in rural and urban India.

7.     Training and empowering marginalized sections of the society through computer literacy programs, english and communication skills, personality development programs, social skills etc.

8.     Working with village communities to bring about attitudinal changes within the social sectors in the wider context.

Centum’s belief in ‘smart partnering’ as one of the ways to create value for both businesses and society is reflected in its collaborations with corporate India.

Some of the key CSR initiatives with India inc. include:

  • Partnership with ACC Limited for skilling and placement of 3000 youth at different locations.
  • Under Petronet’s CSR initiative we have trained students comprising a large population of women in the BPL category with the programs focused on sectors such as retails, BPO and hospitality in Delhi
  • Collaboration with Jubilant Foodworks to provide employability-linked training in retail sales to candidates above 18 years of age
  • Collaboration with Cairn India to impart employability –linked training on Communication, Personal Effectiveness, and Computer & IT Skills to candidates in 18-35 years age group and facilitating their placement
  • Forging an alliance with Bajaj Electricals to create job opportunities and self-employment for rural youth in different districts of Bihar and MP for Electrician and Assistant Mason courses
  • Partnered with Nuclear Power Corporation of India to train and empower women in five villages of Karnataka in tailoring courses
  • Centum Foundation team, partnered with Nasscom Foundation and Concentrix Corporation to provide training in ‘Customer Relationship Management – Voice’ programmes to local youth including women in Haryana
  • Centum Foundation partnered with Fullerton India to operationalize their ‘Livelihood Advancement Initiative’ in Karnataka. Under this initiative, Centum Foundation provided vocational training to rural women living below the poverty line in Karnataka.
  • Tied up with Bata India to implement their CSR initiative of skilling youth in retail sector. After completion of 200 hour training as Retail Trainee Associate, they would be offered jobs in various retail stores.
